GA in the Community
GA commits people, resources and money on an ongoing basis with the following congregations and non-profit organizations:
Kipenzelo Parish, a Lutheran congregation of the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania
Humble Walk Lutheran Church, a new mission of the Saint Paul Area Synod & the ELCA meeting Sunday evenings in the Pilney Building at Randolph & West 7th
Loaves & Fishes – We serve a bi-monthly meal at Faith Lutheran in the Rondo neighborhood of Saint Paul
Merrick Community Services’ Food Shelf through weekly collection and delivery of groceries
Lyngblomsten Care Center – 5th Sunday help to transport residents in wheelchairs to worship
Tutors at the East Side Learning Center at John A. Johnson Elementary School and Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-8 Magnet (former Cleveland Jr. High) on the East Side
