Worship

This service is held in the Sanctuary and follows a
Lutheran liturgical format.
It is creative but
maintains a strong traditional emphasis. Music is varied, but centered
around congregational hymns and choir anthems, all supported by organ and
other instruments.

New Life
Worship – 11:15 a.m.
|
This contemporary/alternative
style worship service is held in Luther Hall in a relaxed atmosphere.
Music is generated by the New life Worship Band, singers
and instrumentalists who support and encourage congregational participation.
Communion is served 2nd and 4th Sundays

Chancel Choir |
The Chancel Choir is the mixed choir (SATB) which sings
at the 9:00 a.m. worship service each Sunday September through May, and for
special events at festival times of the year. A "special" summer choir sings
the first Sunday in June, July and August.
New members are always welcome. Some choral experience
is helpful, but a willing and joyful spirit is the main criteria.
The choir practices Wednesday nights at 7:15
p.m. in the downstairs Choir Room.

New Life
Musicians |
The New Life
Band is a group of singers and instrumentalists who provide musical
leadership at the contemporary worship service each Sunday morning,
beginning with the Gathering Music at 11:00 a.m.
Singers,
keyboard, guitar and percussion form the core of the group. Skilled
musicians are always welcome to consider participation on the music team.
Rehearsals are
at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday evenings. .

Bell Choir
|
The Bell Choir is a group of hand
bell ringers who rehearse each week and participate in the 9:00 a.m.
worships services as scheduled throughout the year as well as at special
festival services. Some ability to read music is
helpful. A good sense of rhythm is critical.
Practice is Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. in
the Chapel.

Children's
Choir |
This choir for children in Kindergarten
though Grade 6 rehearses Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in Luther Hall.
The group is directed by Camille Farinella,
a GA Member and Elementary Music Teacher In the White Bear Lake school
system.

New members are
